About Rolibella
Independent software reviews, comparisons & discovery
Rolibella helps founders, operators and creators choose software with grades we can stand behind — and when we have not tested something yet, we say so instead of guessing.
What we do
Rolibella is an independent editorial publication covering business software. We publish a review only after we have worked with the product: used it against its own claims, checked the pricing page rather than the marketing copy, and run a realistic setup timed for a small team.
Because that takes time, the index grows slowly. A product without a published review does not get an invented one — it stays out of the index until it has been tested.
The result is a grade — A+ down to F — that reflects our editorial verdict across four weighted criteria: feature verification, usability, pricing structure and overall value. It is never an average of user reviews.
Where a review is still in progress
Occasionally a product is worth writing about before we can get hands-on access — a launch with unusual terms, or one that needs an account we are not willing to create yet. When that happens the review states plainly in its own “How we tested” section that it is based on published documentation rather than a trial, and any score that is an estimate is labelled as one.
You should never have to guess whether we actually used something. If a review does not say how it was tested, treat that as a mistake on our part.
How we stay independent
We do not sell placements. Positions inside a category are editorial, and no vendor can pay for a score, a shortlist position or a recommendation. Outbound links currently point straight to each vendor so you can verify pricing and features yourself.
If we ever join affiliate programmes, we will label those links clearly, and it will never change a score or a position.
How we grade
Every grade is built from the same rubric:
- Feature verification — we test the product against its own claims.
- Usability — we time a realistic setup for a small team.
- Pricing structure — we check plan pages, limits and what actually costs money.
- Overall value — the verdict once the first three are weighed together.
An A means genuinely excellent in its category. A B means strong with clear trade-offs. Anything below that signals gaps we would want you to consider carefully before buying.
Grades are revisited when a product changes materially. Where a review has been revised, the date it was last verified is shown on the review itself.
